If there's one thing I miss from my G1, it was the Shop Savvy app which let you scan barcodes. If there anyway to get a barcode scanner, like Shop Savvy, on the iPhone?

Yes, but those are all 2D barcode scanners, which you rarely find. I'm looking for a 1D barcode scanner, which scans regular things.

Well, ZXing is an open source program (listed on the AppStore as "Barcode"), but the iPhone version as of now only supports QRCodes (yes, that's a 2D type), but other versions do support 1D codes (UPC-A, etc etc) codes. Hopefully someone will port the other components over.
