Clickwheel iPod Control Interface

I always hit the wrong buttons when I'm trying to change my songs on my 3G. Is there a way to make a clickwheel type control interface?

EDIT: While I'm on the iPod subject....EQ presets created in iTunes sync to iPhone?

ya get a nano or a classic

you would have to write an app but i think it would be quite hard

it would be friggin awsome on the storm tho scince it has both the select and press functions

and I've had a nano and I can't really afford a classic so I"m pretty much SOL on that part.

one thing you might want to try is "pocket touch" in cydia

it is a gesture based media player

just start a playlist or an album and follow the instructions

I'm no noob to jailbreaking and simple technological troubleshooting. Now I didn't make a thread so we could argue back and forth about what I should do or rather what I can do about it.

I would like the click interface too.. It shouldn't be hard at all there is a port for it on DS for the r4 or whatever chip u use..Fhadso don't mind him121213 (that is what he does. his opinion is always right because he posts morning noon and night)

i was just saying that it is kinda tricky to get it working at first... and it would be kinda hard to do because the clickweel spins and that is one touch.. then it clicks which is another touch... it may sound easy but it isnt a simple task to separate the two different motions and make a program that decides whether you are spining or clicking

I guess you have a point there...But then again one could program it so that the user would have to slide in between the click areas to change the volume, track place, etc.
