Hello,

I am wondering if there are any apps available (app store or cydia) that allow connecting to music servers (like firefly media server, or itunes) on other computers. These computers are either on the same local network or across the internet. Most of my music is stored on my computer, and I would like to be able to access it from my ipod touch over wifi.

I have installed firefly media server on my ipod, thus I can play any of the songs stored on my ipod while sitting at my computer. I would like to be able to do the reverse of this: play any song (or video, if possible) stored on my computer directly on my ipod, streaming from wifi.

I use Simplify Media to stream all of my music from my laptop to my iPhone. I am not sure if it is compatible with the Touch, but it works very well. I do not keep music on my phone anymore because of this app.

I have never tried a video.
