Him, I think there is some confusion. the original TTR is Tap Tap Revolution that automatically scans the songs on your device. If you pick the song, it then downloads the chart for the song.

The new TTR in the App Store is Tap Tap Revenge and it doesn't scan your device for songs, at least that I know of. I think he wants someone to port Revolution to 2.x firmware so he can play the songs on his device.

I think there's a Cydia app that can do that. What does the iPhone 2.0 Toolchain do, for any of the more experienced members? I think that it would be your best bet, it is located in Cydia > Development.

well i havent looked into it but there has to be a location where the app stores its scales and mp3s so if you can find out how to make the scales and such then you should just be able to put them into that folder and it will work
