There are a lot more and more sites now-a-days using ipod-formatted videos on their websites (especially their mobile counterparts, like ESPN mobile). I am wondering if there is such an app or if someone could make an app that can download the videos to the iPhone? Maybe something like MxTube... where you can take the URL of the video location, paste it on the app and it could let you download it? That would be pretty effin' sweet!

dTunes from Cydia allows you to download torrents and accomplish what you want to do. Also, I have a site that has been in the works that also lets you directly download the video. But I haven't released it to the public yet. But this site is for movies and tv shows, not youtube type videos. Stay tuned.

Oh wow! Awesome, thanks! I was always hesitant to download dTunes because the description of it in cydia is less than enticing. Now I know that it's an awesome app.
