Was wondering if anyone can help? I have been searching for what seems like forever for an app that will allow IM when the iPhone is locked? Like the Blackberry has? Any ideas?

ATM, no.

I want the same thing, or at least an app that shows IMs on your lockscreen just like Text does.

I just downloaded Palringo... It works good for IM but I too would like on that runs in the background.
