was thinking it would be handy to have an app that turned the touch screen into a set of digital scales, accurate to 0.00g

could this be done? is the screen sensitive enough?

Now lets see......... what do you need to measure in grams and have a portable scale? Surely nothing that's illegal correct?

Might work but how would you balance it?
You would need to have the unit balanced dead center.
I dont think it would work if just relying on the touch screen.
It would need to be off the ground on a little tripod or something.

Seriously guys, as legal or illegal the circumstances of this app would be,
It's IMPOSSIBLE.
The screen is NOT pressure sensitive. It's a capacitive touchscreen panel.
you can try this yourself, you actually don't have to touch the screen to 'click' something. The screen just has to sense the electromagnetic presence of your finger. that's why gloves or a stylus don't work.

well we will still dream about it.. And by the way mobsta depending on how much ur tryin to drop on a scale they do actually make knockoff iphone scales that are pretty legit.. I know several people that have them.
