BBM for iPhone

An AMAZING app for the iPhone would be anysort of blackberry messenger hack that allows us iPhone users to connect with our blackberry friends

Considering you actually read that thread you would know there is NO WAY a developer will make this program. That would mean that Blackberry would have to assign iPhones a blackberry PIN. BBM goes through the blackberry infrastructure so there is no way to bypass that.

BBM on iPhone finally here

There is a workaround that you can do to communicate over BBM using your iPhone. You do need to leave a functioning Blackberry at home though. However, this solves the problem a lot of people have been posing.

thats actually NOT true. RIM assigned a blackberry PIN to windows mobile, palm, and some symbian devices using BBConect.......they could, in the same way, assign a BBM PIN via a port of BBConnect (if its made available to iphone) to the iphone :P
