landscape dock
Couldn't find if this was asked before but is there any way you can view the the iphone in landscape mode with all the icons if docking is on its side?
Just like in picture mode:turn it sideways and upright to see the icons the right way?
I like to keep it sideways in the car for spreadsheets, landscape sms etc.
Also using the very expensive paperclip side dock ...Lol
Who thinks this is a good idea?My signiture? Whats that...............

i think it's a great idea. but i'd only use it if it worked as well as the "normal" way, which i doubt it would. (i dont use irealsms/mysms for that reason simply cos they are not as slick as the default one)

If you are talking about tilting the phone, and the springboard turning, that would be very cool!

Same. If it looked as if Apple created it that way, it would be pretty nice, but it doesn't really bother me the way it is that much.
But now that I think about it, how would it work? If you have 16 apps on a page (not including dock) and you turn it sideways, you'd still have 4 on the dock and then you'd only have enough space for 15 apps. Where would the 16th one go?
I guess you could just leave the screen along, but make the names of the apps move to the side and the apps themselves rotate. Then the apps stay in place and the dock would be on the right, but you could read the apps and look at the icons right-side up.

16th would be in the dock. with landscape you could fit 5 down there easy. you can have a landscape springboard THEME but thats about it right now

littleboy683, that's exactly what I said.

cricketlang, 16th would go in the dock? That would look bad, because there would have to just be an extra space available in the dock for the 16th icon, and when you navigate to a new page, one app in the dock would move with the rest of the page while the other 4 stayed there. It would look messy and I definitely wouldn't use it.

spinboard is deff a step in the right direction.. i would more like to see something like the storm does. Pretty much i think you should be able to flip the phone on its edge in any program and it work landscape imo..

I have another good idea:
springFlow...make the appflow work instead springboard...
or make springboard order icons like appflow
i think it would be brilliant

That would be cool, but kind of annoying if it's always changing when you don't want it to.
