I like that idea, and when you turn it pulls the icons from the 2nd screen. That would be SICC !!!!

Why not leave the dock & apps where they are, then rotate just the icon images and reposition their labels? However, it's quite an effort to implement this, so don't set your hopes too high.

there are some themes that set this up permanently but none that can switch between both. The closest you can get is SpinBoard which is a beta. It rotates the icons to be viewable landscape but not the labels.

maybe it's a great idea. but I'd only use it if it worked as well as the "normal" way...

Landscaping idea was always a fantasy..Although it seems to slow down my phone a bit..Sometimes it hangs or doesn't respond but the light flashes...Is anyone experiencing this?

Just like in picture mode:turn it sideways and upright to see the icons the right way?
I like to keep it sideways in the car for spreadsheets, landscape sms etc.
Also using the very expensive paperclip side dock ...Lol
Who thinks this is a good idea?
    I would lov this idea

its a cool idea in theory buy in practice it is hard to impliment. ashikase (author of backgrounder) wrote a small MS Plugin that rotates the icons with the accelerometer much like spinboard. i compiled it and tested it but it is pretty buggy still. the icons become disformed

Spinboard is real buggy, no one has really spent anytime on it.
