skip track with volume button???

hi all just wondered if it would be possible to write some sort of script or program to skip foward a track if you push and hold the volume up button and obviously hold volume down for back...my old SE k800 used to do it so i dont suppose it would be that hard.

Which is why I think the iPhone could use three more buttons on the right side..

If you use the headphones that came with your iPhone, you can press the rectangle twice to skip a song...

I don't know if I'd use it, but is a nice idea. I think I'd be using it for volume most of the time. I'd just do what I do now and push the Home button twice to get the controls to pop up without unlocking my iPhone.
