    Exclamation pdanet usb process

Ok, so pdanet 1.50 is great it really works well, but
I was wondering if anybody knew the process that pdanet uses to create the pdanet modem, connecting, and the client or other part on the iphone, bc for some like me, I like the security of just being able to plug in via usb, and bam a connection to the www....
I'm not really trying to rip off pdanet, bc there product is great, but me personally, i dont need all of there features...
if there was someone who could do a write up of how to create the pdanet modem connction for the iphone, and what it talks to on the iphone, i think that would be cool... thoughts people? also this would be a way, that people for free could just make the connection themselves, and get connected
