Is there any way to see the percentage of remaining battery on the top row of the springboard, rather than the green solid block...?

If not there should be an app made for this.

If you have SBSettings, click on extras then enable the numeric battery.

I got a 3d icon somewhere that slowly shrinks as the batt. gets lower...no readout but a quick visual aid. I'm pretty sure I got it here last year around november. I'll look around and get back to you if i can find it again.
