how to order icons on springboard

hi is there a way to put the icons of the app at the order that I want, and to put in the main bar where is the phone, web, ipod the app's thata i want?

click and hold any app icon for around 3 seconds. Then they will start shaking and allow you to move them.

You cannot re-arrange the icons after they are put into category folders.
