until the SDK is released, nothing can be really done for that..

after the SDK release (hopefully it'll be one) it would be easy to "copy" the whole program and frankly do anything you want to on it and re-apply it on ur phone..

think patches, think utilities but all those embed on ur stock iphone apps..

Well... landscape SMS is OK, too. But who knows where to get a decent app for SMS handling? I mean, I miss some "Archives" which I had set up on my Nokia 6630, storing SMSs and so on...

this must get asked at least once a week. okay but if we can't mess with the stock app, how about make a new app, like SMSD. SMSD had an option which unfortuanatly wouldnt work for me on 1.1.4 to make it your default SMS app. SMSD does not support landscape texting yet, but its gotta be possible. The future looks good for you phoneflipping texters.
