Default App so the icons are movable anywhere not aligned to a grid...

Just wondering if this was possible...
A hack or something so that the icons could be moved anywhere and were not aligned to the (4x4) grid.
Is this possible please someone answer as soon as possible. Thanks.

    would anyone else use this?

that would be messy cuz then you might have icons stacked on each other, dont you think?

Not sure if it is possible (or if it is it just might not be worth the work) as I feel we would have seen something like this by now since you are not the first to ask

I'm always amazed at these requests where people think outside the box (kinda) I see things that had never even crossed my mind (like this)
