Urgent Request!!!
hi, i am using iPhone 3G on version 2.0.2 and i dont want to upgrade because it will lock my iPhone. So my request is
can anyone make an app that allows me to play and use games and apps for version 2.1 on my iPhone 2.0.2
if there is one, does anyone know how to get it?

This already exists on cydia. Its called FWChanger. It works i used it for a few apps lately. Im on 2.1. What you will need to do is put in 2.2 for fw and 5G77 for build. Works like a charm. Good luck. Dont forget to thank me. hehe.

The title compared to the content of the post makes me laugh. I was expecting to see "can't make phone calls" or something of that nature. Instead it's "I can't play games that are made for a different firmware" I am still laughing

LOL! and thx everyone for ur replies! but r u sure it doesn't like lock my phone cuz its unlocked? and does it cause any problems?
After i've done some research on FWchanger i read that it was only for firmware 2.1 but i am using 2.0.2 so is there an app like it for 2.0.2?

you can upgrade NOW...iphone 3g version 2.2.1 has been unlocked with Yellowsn0w and it is really reliable...
