Hiyas!
ATM you need to activate the vpn everytime you activate your iPhone / touch. At least if it was in standby for about 5 minutes, You need to go to "Settings" and there slide the vpn to "on".
I could really need an app which automaticly enables the VPN function each time the phone is turned on / activated so users don't need to do this manually. We use this VPN just for accessing an eMail server which needs seperate auth - so no real security thoughts here.
Optional it'd be great if you can choose when the VPN should be automaticly enabled: on edge/3G connection and/or WLAN.
That would be ideal!
But dunno if it's possible at all that this can be handled automaticly - but why not? With WIFI-setting it's possible as well, I don't need to turn it on every time I activate the phone.
"Low End" solution would be a simple "shortcut" app -> tap it and then VPN is started. (Inspired by
this here)
I guess nothing to hard to code, eh?
Thanks a lot for *every* feedback on this!
Regards, Spacey
