Alternative to MiVtones?

I was very interested in MiVtones after seeing in in cydia, however, I have yet to receive any response from the developers about questions i had prior to purchasing their software.

I read many complains about the prices so i decided to check up on them. As of the last time i checked; 12/7/2008:

Im not seeing much activity at all and that only spells bad news to me.

SO,.... Im wondering if there is an alternative to MiVtones?

Hi! Nice program. I've always wanted something that does video for a ringer or some kind of animation.
I'm definetly interested in purchasing the program however, the price seems a bit high compared to other apps out there and for this reason i'm being a bit more cautious and not impulsive. (Don't get me wrong, i am impresed with what I see so far)

What is the development status and road map of MiVtones?
(I really don't want to buy something that's going to be dropped next month or so... )

And I'd like to request a feature if mivitones is in active development you dont mind:
-Random video ringer / randomize play:
I'd like to see some way of setting MiVtones to choose and play a random video from the library upon incoming call. This way im not seeing the same video from the same person calling me all the time.

there is in fact a really good alternative to mivtones. It's called vWallpaper and is a very cool app it has the wallpaper app aswell as the video ringtones app all built into one give that a try its on cydia aswell

Thanks! that should do it nicely.
I'll just dump mivitunes if i dont hear back from them by tuesday. Its unfortunate. It was looking like a good app.
