Cydia to mimic itunes when updating firmware?
The biggest issue when it comes to these new firmware updates is the loss of everything jailbroken that we installed previously and need to do all over again.
Why not have a Cydia program installed on the desktop that works in essence like itunes, but it backs up all the jailbroken apps.
Or atleast makes a list, and starts redownloading everything ?
Obviously Saurik will have to update his Cydia application to be able to sync with the Cydia desktop program ...
Any Thoughts?

Well, there is a program or two that makes a list of what you have on cydia if i recall, and this would simply expand on that concept, so i think it would be, especially if you factor in the computers resources and power as opposed to limiting yourself to the iphone to do it all
