Change side buttons functions !

Hey hey,what about creating a program to change the Volume side buttons functions while we are using the Ipod function ? This could be a great hack to simply change the track without getting out our itouch/iphone from our pocket. This could mimic the control button on the earbuds cord.

Hooo yeah and for those who will say why not simply use the Iphone earbuds control clicker on the cord then i will respond that's because must of us think the stock earbuds suck and i prefer my IEM or headphones

i support this hack. it would be quite cool for ipod owners. i wouldnt mind this for the iphone either as my volume is either all the way up or muted on vibrate.

heheh now we need some one to help to make the code. I don't think it will be hard because you simply have to remap de usage of the buttons.

People we need your support so post your interrest. This way a developper will see interreset in the project.

This is a good idea. I was also hoping someone could write a mod which could tap into the earbuds control button and add functionality to it. If the device can detect a single or double click, why not a triple click as well?

Specifically, it would be great if my iphone would suspend ipod playback and say the time of day in my ear whenever I triple-clicked so I wouldnt have to have to dig into my coat pockets. Lazy I know, but would be so balla X)
