Landscape sms for free?
Hey all,
I tried the trial mySMS but it would freeze my iphone when I received a text message. Is there anything I can install on my 3G iPhone to allow landscape typing in text messaging that is free?

For Free? No..... MySMS F***ed up my iPhone. Screwed up my sms db. I would receive 3 of the same messages, it would pop up a notification on an SMS i already viewed. No I didnt have intelliscreen or anything like that installed. Just a clean 2.1 FW with BeeJive IM. I am sure a few bug fixes will take care of MySMS, I will say this, it is much better than irealsms and others out there.

Yes, biteSMS is free and it does landscaping. Be sure to press the tiny blue arrow on the bottom right hand corner of the screen and set it to "Send Via Carrier". Otherwise you have to purchase credits to use it.

I use iRealSMS and I love it. You can landscape, disable correction, search for texts, forwared text and it always works. It was well worth the 8 dollars I payed for it.

Yeah but BiteSMS freezes. I tried it for about 45 minutes. I text more than I talk on the phone and that was annoying.
8 dollars isn't that much. You can sacrifice buying that pack of cigarettes for the week or lunch for the day. Just my 2 cents.Last edited by gQstatus05; 12-02-2008 at 06:01 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Yeah I guess it's what you have setup on your phone though. I like the fact I can use iRealSMS to reply to an sms withouht having to exit whatever I'm doing.

I wish I could like the quick reply feature. It's totally not working on my 3G. Any ideas? I've tried to uninstall and reinstall.. nothing works.
