Because:
- I have only put up open source software in my repository, nothing original. Saurik prefers to put all packages of this type in his own distribution repository, which makes perfect sense to me, but:
- I have built most packages simply because I needed them for myself in the first place. This in itself is no problem, but as I do not like the amount of disk space used on the primary partition, which is why I chose to put my stuff in /usr/local and make that a symlink to /private/var/local, so that it ends up on the large partition. This is not something I have come to an agreement about with Saurik though.
So, in short, it just contains stuff that is not (yet) in Saurik's main repository, but which I needed for my own. Once I have the time, I will probably construct build recipes for Saurik so that he can include the software in his repository, removing the need for mine, but I expect to maintain my repository anyway to share stuff that I build for myself anyway.
