Thread: SMS signature application.

SMS signature application.
Every once in a while you'll be texting with someone and they constantly have a few words that appear at the bottom of the message no matter what.
That's a signature and all new phones let you use them, aside from the iPhone.
I'm thinking one of you devs could make an signature app. I don't know how difficult it would be to make one, but I can't imagine it being too hard. The E-mail function lets you have one by default (Sent from my iPhone), so maybe you could use that for coding reference.
It's just an idea.

I wouldn't have to use it no but others would. That's why I said I hate signatures in SMS in general. A few of my friends send me messages with signatures and it just drives me crazy!

I find that so annoying, so much that I delete people from my phone with signatures. That's just me.

Like I said I simply use my name. Is that what is hated or are people adding designs and graphics.
My sig would simply be Scott C. Is that annoying to receive on every text I send? Just asking because when I worked at Intel I would send receive Any where from 150 to 200 text pages a day. If a page didn't have a sig there would be no response.
Most of the good texter were able to type about 45 words a minutes using their thumbs on a skytel pager.
Thanks for the replies in advance

actually no I'm not over=reacting. If you have your name in my SIG and I see you name pop up after every damn text i'll be annoyed. Point blank it's lame. Lets do a poll. Signatures are for EMAIL not TEXTS.
Does it make you feel important? Because I think you want to put your
Name:
Company:
Contact:
Etc:
Do a poll and lets see what people think, I guarantee people would say it's annoying.Android user suffering from iPhone withdraw.
