Microphone and Webcam

I was sitting at my computer today when I thought to myself, if only I had a microphone or web cam. Then I reached over to pick up my phone and bam; it hit me.

I would like to propose the idea to any programmer willing to take on the challenge of creating an app that allows the phone to be connected to the computer via USB and act as one of the two.

there's already on app like this. It's called Qik. it streams live from you iPhone to there website. It's pretty sweet and it's FREE.99

I mean more for Instant Messenger usage. Such as Windows Live or AIM. Streaming to a website doesn't really cut it for me.
