Default Saurik MobileFinder - Porting MobilePreview or other MobileStudios

I was wondering if anyone knew if Saurik, (or anyone) was planning on porting MobileText, MobilePreview etc... that were plugins for MobileFinder, I think under the banner of MobileStudio.

If not, does anyone know if MobileFinder could launch a video using mplayer or pwnplayer or anything like that .... or if it could launch a notepad/editor on a text file so that we could suppliment some of this lost functionality.

MobileFinder is great, don't get me wrong, but I used the original to launch an editor on a file, or launch a song/movie, and for that it was a great one-stop tool, the new one can set permissions and launch an app, but not much else, (in its current form)

    i second this question.

i've been trying to add file associations in mobilefinder to use other apps. like gtext to edit txt and xml files...

i'm wondering if one were to install the appstore version, mobile studio, which i believe has versions of mobiletextedit and mobilepreview packaged inside it, could file associations be used to have these open files from saurik's mobilefinder?

    thoughts?

If you are saying could you make an associations in Finder(saurik) to MobileFinder (appstore MobileStudio), it doesn't appear like it works.

    For example, I tried

    mp4:com.pixiotech.MobileFinder

and though it launches MobileFinder it is not taken to the correct path or attempt to load the file etc... (it doesn't say anything like 'could not find file')

I have tried associations to a bunch of different apps, mplayer, docs, vlcplayer, etc, all of them launch, none of them load anything. I'm guessing the associations launches the app with a command line and no one implemented a command line reader. That would probably be the easiest solution, if BigBoss (for Docs) for example saw what Finder shelled to his app and implemented code for it.

The new AVPlayer supports video and audio formats from Finder.
