Detailed descriptions for Cydia & Installer apps?

The descriptions are pretty lousy for many of the programs found on Cydia and Installer. I'm sure that several of the apps I've installed duplicate functionality, but I can't find details of what the apps actually do and what to expect to see, so I can't really tell what app is doing what.

Is there a detailed description available for the apps found on Cydia or Installer? Some screen caps and examples of what the app does?

Best thing to do would be looking through the app discussion thread or going to the devs website. Sorry.
