Remove "Slide to unlock" requirement?

Is it possible to remove the requirement to "slide to unlock"? I simply want to hit the "home" button to wake the phone up and use my apps.

I use my iPhone single handed most of the time, but pressing the home button, then sliding is a bit tricky.

My iPhone is protected by a wallet so I NEVER launch an application accidentally.

There's this application in cydia that let's you unlock the phone with three taps of the home button. Look for 'quickunlock' in cydia.

There's an app in Cydia called Native Tap to Unlock. It replaces the slide motion with a single screen tap. So, press the home key, tap screen to unlock, done.
