No this is not about tethering on iphone, this is about connecting iphone
to a cdma phone such as palm centro through bluetooth so I can get on the internet
anywhere I want.

No I don't have data plan from AT&T or T-Mobile, I do have unlimited data
plan from Sprint. There's no sim card in my iphone.

Yes I carry two phones all the time (stupid I know). I use iphone as my
primary mp3 player and internet browsing.

Is this even possible to implement a dial-up program for iphone so I can do tethering
through my Palm Centro?

If you don't mind to replace the Palm with a WinMo phone, you could use this program:
WMWifiRouter

It turns the WinMo phone into a wireless router and you could use the iPhone via Wifi.
Posts I've found via Google say it works on the Sprint Mogul. Mogul also has a leaked firmware available that supports EVDO Rev. A and GPS.
