    Default Firewall / Outbound connections

    Hi all

I have exchange and some personal email accounts on my iPhone and i'm paranoid about installing a 3rd party application which has a malicious back end that sends all my mail etc to someone (yep thats right no encryption on the exchange email!)

Apart from checking the running process for anything dodgy and running netstat for connections the odd time would it be possible to create the following.

If anyone has used the iphone VNC server application when you try and connect to the iPhone you get a prompt asking if you want to allow the inbound connection, would it be possible to have the same but reverse so we can allow or disallow an application ie add safari and mail to the whitelist etc

let me know what you think

    cheers

    nino

Yes, that really is a function I'd like to see, too.
