VOIP on the iPhone? Please?
I recently moved to Guam, where monthly service for the iphone is going to be ridiculous!
I would like to know if there is a program out there, either released or in the works, to use the iPhone as a VOIP handset? Right now, I'm basically just using it as a glorified iPod Touch.
I know we used to have FRING, but I have since upgraded to 2.1

There is truphone in the app store but the rates suck, and IM+ somehow does skype.. fring is supposed to be in the works and released soon.
Any other voip apps? I'm off to europe on friday and definitely want voip!!

I'm gonna look into TruPhone maybe... but probably wont get it if the ratings suck. I thought IM+ just contacted people with IM's... like, you could IM your contacts in skype, but I didn't think it handled actual talking and audio... gonna look into that too I guess
UPDATE:
I see no support from IM+
TruPhone has bad ratings, and I must admit... their pricing is pretty high... Guess I'll just use my computer... gonna have to go buy a headset, I guessLast edited by mad_llib; 09-30-2008 at 06:37 PM.
