this is for 2.01, not 2.1...
but while we are on this topic and 2.2 is coming out soon, think we can get a new version made? one that actually works though?Last edited by tha5150; 09-27-2008 at 08:01 AM.

I had 1st generation iPhone v1.1.3. No problems.
I restored to v2.0.2 and now everyone says I sound very muffled and hard to hear.
Does anyone know why?

Ive noticed the same volume issue on 2.1
the biggest difference is the ring volume. its so quiet, that if my phone is in a different room i dont hear it.
is there a volume hack for this too?

I find that the volume of music/videos is much louder than speakerphone volume of a call. The hack did nothing for me.

I hope someone finds a way to truly increase the volume of both the earpiece and the speakerphone.

the speakerphone is the only thing I can truley ask for a fix to. I simply can not use it as is. Unless I am in my room with no tv or anything, this is useless. Driving down the road even with windows up I can bit hear anything. And I always find myself pointing the speakers at my ear to hear anything. This is terrible for a somewhat media player phone.
