I use Intelliscreen It Hides it from showing up and has the taskbar icons for unread mail and sms messages as well as missed calls. I didn't want everything showing up on the lock screen either so i hid all of it in the intelliscreen 'layout'. I love it!

I wish Intelliscreen worked for me. There always seems to be some sort of conflict with other apps on my phone that keeps me from being able to enjoy it.

This is a great app. Download it from cydia. There is a cost of $12 but it is worth it. Not only will it block SMS, it will block in coming phone calls. It even has an extra for you to block any calls or SMS you did not block to show up on your lock screen.

mcleaner is an app that can hide SMS, and you can set a password to protect your private sms.

I find both iBlacklist, and MCleaner still show "new text" on the lock screen.

I've been looking for a way to hide sms and calls from showing up on the lock screen. Iblacklist seems to work great.

do you know how I can hide the icon on my springboard. And then how do I recall it? Is there another program?
