Notification Toolbar
I am looking for a notification tool bar much like what was available on 1.1.4 where it let you know if you had a missed call, text message, etc. I am now on T-Mobile; iPhone software 2.1. Anybody know where I can find it at?

Hasn't been ported to 2.x. Might want to try intelliscreen; it also provides that function, albeit for a price.

Last time I tried intelliscreen, it locked me out of my phone and I had to start all over with the process to try and get it back. I really don't feel comfortable trying it again, even if it is okay now.

You are looking for taskbar notifier, he is currently porting it to 2.* series and is the process of beta testing it with followers.
