Aim in background.
Looking for an app that does AIM and/or GTalk but stays on in the background so I can always receive IMs. I heard about Agile Messenger but it doesn't seem to be out yet for 2.0.2 so is there any other apps that can do this?

Nothing out there yet. You can use another program alongside your favorite IM client. It is called insomnia and basically lets everything run int he background. Make sure only your IM client is loaded when you are using insomnia or else everything will keep going (including wifi), which will eat your battery fast
