iphone as usb memory device
Is there a program that will allow me to download a file and the let my phone act as a usb device so that i can upload this file to a satellite reciever.
Most of the time these files are compressed, i would also have to unzip them.
Basically i want to download a compressed file, unzip it, and use my iphone to upload the file to a satellite reciever.
Any ideas

I'm going to reveal my ignorance:
What is a "satellite receiver"? My thoughts immediately run to Sirius/XM but I know that's not what you're talking about.PLEASE click everyone's "Thanks" buttons...they are begging for it.

I dont think your cable satellite box can read the iphone.
"Hint" just got back from Frys... 2Gig flashdrive is on sale for 5 bucks.

Yeah, there's no point using an iphone for storage when flash drives are so cheap

Does that mean you have to carry the usb cable with you all the time? given that you have access to the computers that you are at..ie, at the library, at work, at your friend's place...via SSH.
Where as you can attach the little flashdrive to your keychain.
Then again...that's a choice. Whatever rocks your boat.
Wait a minute...are we still speaking of the cable satellite box connection ??? lol.
