heh, i mean it's an overall simple idea, where the only trouble (by making it a touch-sensitive app) would be:
- how to raise/lower the 'kitten launcher' lol, i suppose extra buttons to the side of the screen as a "+" (raise/up) and a "-" (lower/down), OR have the accelerometer fixed to this (although it would be annoying trying to get, e.g. 45 degrees but just jilting the iPod/iPhone either way would get 40 degrees and 50 degrees)
- Where to set the limit to where the kitten can actually fly/glide/roll on the ground in excrutiating pain, to. e.g. 2000 meters (possible but unlikely)
- Enough memory so that the kitten actually flies past things instead of white gaps or something
and..
- The screen [?] needs to be quick enough to keep up with the kitten
lol if there's any more problems with this let me know ey?
i'll try and get in contact with the owner of Kitten Cannon too :P
If not we'll use Puppy Cannon or something (just made it up)
For those of you who'd like to try something else similar, or compare our two games,
My game: Kitty Kannon, just hit the iTunes App Store a couple days ago.
Its got funny sounds, animations, and a location based high scores list so you can compete against your in town friends, or even in state, country or globally!
You tilt the iPhone towards and away from you to shoot and flick your finger as fast as possibly to fire.
