I would love and need an app similar to MiM one that will rename native apps to what ever I want. I know its possible using winSCP, but I currently dont have a computer and think it would just be easier to open an app choose the desired app and choose my own name.

I'm not sure if its possible but if theres an app to change the carrier name its gotta be possible.

there is an app in cydia that does that it's called rename... Use the search feature in cydia to find it.... Hope this helped!

that's awesome ive always used installer so wasn't aware of that. With that said when you say its in cydia is that fw2.0 cydia or 1.1.4 cydia, and is it safe to use both cydia and installer

im on 2.0 so i dont know if they have it for 1.1.4. and yes cydia is safe... i actually like using it a bit better than installer.

Cydia Rocks and Installer sux, it is more dangerous to use installer beta Cydia is stable and a lot better

Yep Rename is for 2.X
