i found this page awhile back about using the built in-camera and some clever java script to make a blue tooth mouse out of an old nokia. im pretty sure this project was abandoned as i cant find much more info in it.

i am not skilled in computer moding on this level, so unsure if this idea is even possible.
so does anyone know if an app could be made using the built in motion sensors in the iphone as a way of moving the curser on you mac? or even using the iphone screen as a remote track pad. (being able to use all the new multi-touch gesture seen on iphone and macbook air...........dreaming now.)

im guessing using wireless would be to slow or some sort of delay, so that just leaves bluetooth, or is the iphone bluetooth to retarded to do that?

could this work? or has mary jane taken over my brain?

i have looked all over and only thing i have found is how to install through installer but it isnt there. i would really like someone to help me out with this..

I posted this a month or two before such things as touch pad pro, and teleport had been released.
I highly recommend teleport, get it off the app store not sure how much it is but it's worth every penny.

It's $25 and I agree that it's worth every penny. I was HIGHLY skeptical before buying and waited for a while but once I took the plunge, I was very impressed with the feature set and UI. Really nicely refined product.
