"DOCKS" for iPhone 2.01?

Remember the "Docks" App we had back on 1.xx ? The Little rainbow/starburst in the bottom right hand lower corner that would launch our apps? Will we ever get this back? Does anyone else see a need or miss this awesome daemon? To the developer(s) out there, please find a way to bring this back to us.
