Just like Using the ipod to easy navigate to which song you want to listen too this could work that very same way

yes I liked it. There should be an easy way to scroll through. I would also like to have an option to Show and then Skip the Installer sources which are 'hanging' during source refresh.

yeah i always thought they should have had this from day one it just takes to long to go to the z's to the h's oops forgot something in the c's the queue helps but this would seriously Rock !

Interesting idea. I would have expected them to implement something like this into the finished product of 3.0, should be easy enough to implement.

Sin - Ingenious idea. Please submit and make sure they give you credit. Seems easy enough but I for one couldn't figure out the best way to implement easy navigation through installer. You did! You're the best!

Interesting concept! I like it and its very organized. Now I wonder if the people who maintain the installer will implement this?

in the sources tab you should be able to click the source and see all the apps available from that source... just an idea

Maybe i should just call them and tell them and i just relized that if we use the file from the ipod or contacts for the scrolling wouldnt that be illegal ?

This should deffo be included, much more usefull than the queue feature.

Also, it shouldn't go back to the first view everytime you install things, cause normally you wan't to browse a category for a while.

Installer is an amazing app. It is very professional. Pretty soon though, its gonna have some competition from the big man!

In a funny sort of way, installer will probably end up improving Apple's solution, because they have something to outdo. Without Installer, Apple would not be implementing this sort of SDK, they would do something more like the games available on other iPods.

great idea
also it would be nice and usfull to have the folowing
1. Search word ( from name and description ) to find app by name (abc) is limited to the first word of the app
2 while refreshing sources it ould be nice to see the name if the repo and enable skip while refreshing problematic repo
3.check box to enable/disable repo without delete
4. Add feild for repo name in each aplication
