1.1.4 can use an app called swirly. There is no support yet for 2.0.1 although there website says they are working on it.

call me confused but your sig already says u r on a 2.0.1 phone?

if people would realize something, this has been addressed before. it not a phone issue moreover than an AT&T issue. you can use Swirly if your data plan allows, which please correct me if I am wrong, means the phone is indeed capable of MMS, just carrier limited. So not really sure who to point the finger at, Apple or AT&T

both, apple doesn't want mms, so they use at&t to block it.
yes the phone is capable. and swirly actually works great on tmobile.1.1.1>1.1.2>1.1.4>2.0>2.1>2.2>3.1>3.1.2 blackra1n'd

SwirlyMMS will not work on AT&T 2.0 and above unless there is a program developed to fake your IMEI to something else. This was the only way to get it to work consistently on 1.1.4.

Perhaps you could use push email for iPhone 2.0.X. It's just as fast as MMS (SMS). I use Microsoft exchange email from mail2web. They have free service for this. Just don't sync your contact / calendar, it will erase your contact / calendar data. I even forwarded my gmail account so I didn't have to change my email address.
