Native app for TV listings

* support for XMLTV format
* user defined destination URL(s) for getting XMLTV file(s)
* offline working without connection to Internet
* update data only if iPhone has connection do Internet (WiFi) or direct update (click on Update button in app GUI)
* GUI with more ability for viewing TV listings: actual, daily, per TV station, filtering, searching, automatic notification by keywords, notifications pushed to Calendar (not proprietary notifications alerts in app), hide unusable hours (when I'm working without TV eq. between 02:00-17:00), smart views (Actually on all TV stations, Next on all TV stations), show/hide program details (description, kategory...)
* no more web TV listings, we need user-friendly app :-)

Yahoo has a great TV listing area that shows whats on. Not sure if they have an RSS feed but if so, you can download one of the RSS programs for the iPhone or iPod Touch and maybe use that to get all your updates.

Yahoo TV listings area is unusable for vieweng local TV's. I have source for XMLTV formated data from ours local TV's (Europe) but my message is request for app developers to programming native app "TV guide listings" with XMLTV support.

XMLTV is used worldwide in multimedia centre SW & HW for distributing TV guide data from provider to end-user SW&HW.
