Iphone Pager

After losing my iphone in my house a few times I've been thinking a pager app would be nice (if it's possible) . This app would just be a program installed your computer connected to the same wireless network (when in the house). It would allow you to press "page" on the computer which would cause your iphone to ring, allowing you to locate it.
This is all assuming you don't have time to get someone else to call it.
If anyone can make this possible, many thanks!
