Default REQUEST: S60s FlipSilent for the iPhone

FlipSilent for Symbian seems to be doing the same as iBurp, iGiggle and others, except it does something useful. Puts the phone in silent mode on incoming calls if you flip the phone over screen down. This would be so sweet on those days when you're in a sleep coma and somebody keeps calling and calling and you're too tired to do anything but flip your phone over.

Don't we need this for the iPhone?

can't you just flip the switch on the side of the phone?
(can't be much harder then flipping the phone? )

I think you're missing the point.

Yes. There's simplicity and elegance involved when all you have to do is flip the phone. We're not just talking about muting/hanging up the incoming call, but changing the phone profile. The genius thing about it is that you don't forget to turn sound back on when you need it. It's easy to forget turning the sound on when you have to flip the switch. If the phone is on the table face down, you'll just flip it over when you need sound and put it in your pocket.
