Voip for iPhone?

just posting this from my iPhone but I was thinking about those ppl with 1.1.2 oob and those ppl that have minutes, so I was hoping that having voice over ip would come in very handy. I have 200 day minutes with my plan, but why pay more when u could just make a call with wifi etc. We could use the microphone/ speaker + wifi in order to make this work. Any ideas?

there is an app for voip, but the mic isnt working for it yet on the iphone...i have it on mine and can call out but no one can hear me yet....i hope there working on it more, but it does work.
