I previously own a nokia 6300 and they came with this new cool feature (so i think) that has a blue blinker whenever you get a miss call or a text message.

Since for the iphone, all you get is a blank black screen... perhaps a 5sec blinker will be cool to notify you that you got a miss call/text message? Least you need not unlock your phone to check on it every now and then...
