iPhone Screen Recorder

I would love it if it was availble in app store for my iphone 3g. A screen recorder is very usefull for say, making videos, and you want to get the whole screen perfectly

I requested this a long long time ago also. Did not happen till now, doubt it will ever happen too bad it would have been a useful app to some.

I think it should be possible. The iPhone/iTouch has a build-in feature to capture the screen (screenshot). If you could make an app that disables the screenshot flash (when u take a screenshot your screen goes completely white for a sec) and disables the sound, and the take screenshots as fast as possible after each other and then compiles it to a video, it should work. Might cause a huge preformance hit, idk, not good at porgramming and stuff. I know its possible to disable screen flashing and the shutter sound though.

The Guys at Veency did an Amazing Job. This package works amazingly well and is highly recommended.

However it does create Security Holes that makes your iPhone as easy to hack as a finding pr0n on the internet.

Just make sure you require Authentication for every connection, and a password.

^^ app is simply amazing, it would be sweet to have options to add your recorded video to youtube, or anyother video sharing sites.

Although Im not thrilled about the app being installed illegally, I appreciate the suggestion and feedback. Im working on youtube upload. Btw, when you say crashes, what do you mean? Instantly?

Like it freezes my phone.

For others who want to see the quality, there is very little lag. Keep in mind I was going at a very fast pace, if you go slowly it will have basically no lag.

Well for me it works fine. I'm just saying without backgrounder in my 2 tries it didn't work.

I know this thread is getting a bit old, but for those interested, ScreenRecorder version 1.5 should be up pretty soon. It now has an unlimited video capture time
