New App Idea: G-Meter

ive been looking for the past few days and i can not find any thing.
does any one know if some one has a G-meter app made or if there is one in the works?
it would be really cool for the car racing i do if i was able to save the read out to the ipod too.

i have the "Accelerometer Log" app installed but it does not give a G reading and you cant log the read outs
