Contacts list with Photos!

I thought I remembered seeing this in an Apple video, but where escapes me. I know there's photo dial but it's well, so so. All I want is a normal contacts list (as exists already) with photos on it. How hard is that? This would be so cool, so obvious why didn't Apple add it in the first place?

Maybe I don't understand the question, but this does already exist.

Under contacts go to "Edit" (top right) then "Add Photo" (top left) then either "Take Photo" or "Choose Existing Photo" (from your store of photos).

Click "Done" afterwards.

Then your contacts will show the photo when you click on them, and their photo will appear full screen whenever they ring.

Apologies now if I've misunderstood the question.

I appreciate your kind answer unfortunately that is not quite what I mean and I'm aware of that feature.

I'm saying: How bout when you goto your Contacts LIST (with all the contacts) just have photos for each person on the list next to their name. It's very simple. Visually, it would be much easier to find people.

Well….there are many ways of getting to a solution…may be the one you say is not the most appropriate one….but whatever….;-)
